The Union of the UAE shall forever remain

The 2nd of December is the time of year we renew our pledge of loyalty to our country, celebrate our union, and cherish the memories of our country’s accomplishments. It’s the time of year where our hearts beat with love for those who are not with us today but are always present in our hearts filling us with pride and glory.

Forty One years have passed since the union was formed, and in each passing year,  the spirit of Our Father Zayed still shines brightly.

We, the people of the UAE, hold in our hands the opportunity for a bright future. AlHamdullila, across the UAE, we are blessed with leaders who each and every day bind the nation together. This leadership, their drive, their commitment and humanity, gives us hope and sets an example to all of us as well as teach us the importance of holding in our hands togather for the future of our country.

Mentioning the future doesn’t mean that we are eliminating our past. We have a long history, a history that extends beyond the last 40 years. A history which is made up of millions of stories that inspire each generation, therefore it needs to be embraced, shared and captured.

With pride I say “I love my UAE”  Happy National Day my fellow Emiratis and expats and thanks to all who showed and expressed there love to the UAE … 1 week to go and the celebrations have started already may Allah bless the UAE, it’s people and leaders who have sustained a system of peace and harmony to us all.
