Apple released iOS 6 to the public today making the download available to users of recent iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch models and it’s available in for UAE users now. iOS 6 adds over 200 new features, like Apple’s own Maps app, Facebook integration, Siri improvements and more.
Be patient as the rush to download the update usually slows the update process to a crawl.
For what I’ve seen so far iOS 6 has given the user more features to make the things we do every day even better. For anyone who has received a late night text message disturbing their sleep, or accidentally received a dumb phone call in the middle of a meeting, the new Do Not Disturb feature is a lifesaver. Moreover, here are few features I loved …
1- Maps: Beautifully designed and has taken a new turn in terms of graphics
2- Facebook: full integration with iOS
3- Passbook: No more hunting through your wallet for cards, coupons, passes, or tickets. Passbook keeps everything organized and in one place for you
4- Phone: iOS 6 adds new calling features to your iPhone. Now when you decline an incoming call, you can instantly reply with a text message or set a callback reminder.
5- Camera: It comes with panorama now
6- VIP Mail: A new feature called VIP, which is similar to Gmail’s Priority Inbox but more specific.

Now that iOS 6 is almost out, some users must be wrestling between upgrading and losing all of their jailbreak tweaks or staying with iOS 5, and missing out on iOS 6’s new features … what would you do?
From my point of view iOS 6 is a big step forward. So, in other words, what are you waiting for? Go get that update.
