Saddened by the news of Maya Angelou’s passing. A brilliant woman who contributed so much to the world. With her death we lose the immense wisdom of the celebrated African American author, poet and civil activist. She penned more than 30 books, won numerous awards, and was honored last year by the National Book Awards for her service to the literary community.
