Boundaries; emotional, physical and mental comfort zones – We have all created these self-imposed boundaries in our lives which we live our lives by them. We cling to what we believe is true and continue to walk the same path that looks and feels familiar.
We remain in our comfort zones and live with our self-imposed boundaries and when we encounter a new exit or a new turn in the road – like a new opportunity – we will obviously not notice it, and if we do, we will tend to ignore it and continue with the road which we are most comfortable on. We say we want to be successful yet we forget that one of the main reasons why most of the successful people in the world achieved extraordinary success is because they were able to think differently, take risks and move out of their comfort zones.
Sometimes you’ve got to lose yourself in order to find yourself, your true self.
When you expand your self-imposed boundaries, you have the opportunity to transform yourself. Sometimes you have to challenge the beliefs you hold about yourself, sometimes its good to be guided by your own dreams and heart’s desires. Most people remain unsuccessful and stay in their comfort zones because of fears, limited beliefs, habits. Our comfort zone is a place in which we feel safe and secure and where there is no sense of risk. It is made up of the known, the accepted and the expected.
Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new. Brian Tracy
