Be authentic and true to yourself.

Are you living a life that is more in tune with your “authentic” self (who you were created to be) or your “fictional” self (who the world has told you to be)?

We live in a crazy world that’s trying to make us like everyone else, but we should find the courage to keep being our awesome self. Being authentic, real and true to our-self is the ultimate freedom. We should learn to be the best version of our-self and if we cannot put our heart in it, we can take our-self out of it.

I am not saying it’s easy; because when it comes to living as a compassionate, non-judgmental human being, the only challenge is learning to walk a lifetime, comfortably in our own shoes.  When people are authentic it’s refreshing, real and truthful. There’s no games’ being played, just a clean, clear communication from the heart and soul.

Don’t Complicate Simple Things

Life is very simple and we tend to complicate things for ourselves. Like a cluttered closet that you can never seem to find what you need, our minds tend to clutter with ideas that can at times hold us back from seeing the little things that make life good!

Something starts at somethings simple, but one always adds something to that simple thing. Adding to something makes it complicated. Therefore, people makes simple things complicated because they can’t help but add something unnecessary to it. (how many time did I say something :p) I guess it’s part of our nature!

My Awakening ..

Last weekend with the busy schedule, meetings, events and gatherings I had a day where I relaxed, slept and thought of many things. I actually shutted down and isolated myself from every thing and stayed with myself.  It felt like I reached to this time in my life where I felt that I finally get it … When the voice inside my head CRIED OUT, “ENOUGH! Enough fighting, crying and struggling to hold on”. Out of the blue I sobbed and began to sink in my tears and thoughts, I shuddered, I then blinked back my tears and through my wet lashes I began to look at the world through new eyes.Read more

A child once asked her teacher.. “Ma’am, why is the pronoun “I” always capitalized when we write it?”

The teacher smiled and said, “Cause it’s a way of giving respect to yourself, by capitalizing it, you’re emphasizing your worth and uniqueness.”
